Sara's Gelato
Sara's Artisan Gelato is more than a gelato business. It represents a heritage and a family's love for embracing its Italian culture. From a young age, Sara had a love of the culinary arts. She grew up in the kitchen next to her grandmother, and decided that a career in the food industry would fulfill her life goals. She graduated from culinary school, but becoming a chef wasn't the purpose she desired. She wanted a way to celebrate her Italian heritage and have the creative freedom to express her talents in the kitchen. Gelato was the perfect answer. Sara decided to start her gelato business at 22 years old. She paid her way through school at Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna, Italy, and she returned to Green Bay, Wisconsin. It began with a single gelato machine in her parents basement, and in a few short years, the business has blossomed into having multiple retail locations and numerous wholesale customers. Every day, Sara's Artisan Gelato passionately strives to create quality and authentic Italian gelato.
